Barb Brooks Scholarships

At Home in Jasper

2009 saw the passing of one of Jasper’s artists.  While Barb had been not actively painting for the past few years she was once one of Alberta’s most prolific painters…living the life of an artist – complete with its struggles and pleasures.

In her name there are now two annual scholarships available – one for a student wishing to continue on in the arts at college or university.  The other is for an emerging artist wishing to grow their skills through workshops / educational opportunities.  For more info on Barb, her works continue to be available to fund the scholarships, or the scholarships – go to www.barbbrooksartist.com

DECEMBER 10th is the annual exhibit of Barb’s portfolio.  Sales go towards the scholarships.
